I’m passionate about making information accessible to all, connecting education to individual interests, makerspace technology and maker programming, and slow librarianship.

I got my start in digital storytelling, multimedia production, and fandom enthusiasm from an early age. I embraced the power of programming to build connections by running interest based clubs in high school that participated in huge community fandom events. And of course, I was a regular fixture at my school and public libraries too.

After receiving my AA degree and moving back to my hometown, getting hired at the local library taught me that I didn’t have to be “just” an entrepreneur or an event planner or a marketing specialist – in libraries, I could do them all at the same time! And I could make helping people and building community a career. Win-win!
